How Can a Registered Dietician Help Me?

Nutrition provides nourishment and plays a key role in maintaining a healthy immune system. Consuming the right balance of nutrients (proteins, fiber, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, minerals, and water) helps in maintaining a healthy lifestyle, promotes healthy pregnancy outcomes, supports normal growth, and reduces the risk of developing certain chronic diseases.

Nutrition is the study of nutrients in our food, and how substances in food can either provide energy or get converted into body tissues. It is also a study of the relationship between diet, health, and disease.

At the Virtual Health Clinic you can seek help for even the most complex issues surrounding food and nutrition. We can refer you to a Dietician, a trained food and nutrition expert, who will assess your nutrition needs and develop and implement a personalized nutrition plan where there will be ongoing evaluations on your results.

A Registered Dietician will counsel you on how to make dietary and lifestyle changes to reduce the risk of certain diseases like cancer, heart problems, diabetes, and high blood pressure, and support you throughout your health journey.
