If you, your insured partner, or your insured child has a new sickness or injury that first occurs AFTER the start date of your policy, your policy will cover these expenses:
Guard.Me will pay for doctor's visit to treat a new emergent condition in a doctor's office or clinic. Guard.Me will pay the doctor when you need to go to the Emergency Room.
When the doctor says you need to go to the hospital, or you need emergent medical care outside the regular clinic or office hours, Guard.Me will pay for treatment at an Emergency Room (ER) at the Hospital.
Ambulance - When you are unable to get to a hospital for an emergent condition, Guard.Me will pay for an ambulance to take you to and from a hospital or medical clinic. Taxi - When you are unable to get to a hospital for an emergent condition, Guard.Me will pay for a taxi fare to take you to and from a hospital or medical clinic.
When the doctor says you need minor tests (such as lab work, x-rays, or ultrasounds) to diagnose your new condition, Guard.Me will pay for these tests. FOR MAJOR TESTS SUCH AS "CAT" OR "CT SCANS" AND "MRI'S" YOU MUST CALL THE GUARD.ME ASSISTANCE LINE FIRST BEFORE YOU HAVE THE TESTS DONE.
If you need to stay in the hospital, Guard.Me will pay for all associated inpatient costs.
Coverage for dental work for the relief of acute pain and suffering.
If you are hit in the mouth or are in an accident and your own teeth are damaged, Guard.Me will pay to repair or replace those teeth.

If you go to a doctor who gives you a prescription to go to the drug store to buy medicine from the pharmacist, Guard.Me will pay for the medicine up to a maximum 30-day supply. Guard.Me will NOT pay for refills of medication visits.

Once you have completed the online or phone registration, you can select a convenient time to have your appointment with our Medical Provider. We are open 7-days a week from 8am to 9pm Eastern Standard Time, including statutory holidays.
Our virtual doctor will connect with you within approximately 15 to 30 minutes of your appointment time. If you experience a delay in the healthcare provider contacting you, please be patient as they may be tending to the patients ahead of you. If you experience a prolonged delay, please email operations@virtualhealthclinic.com and a member of our team can let you know where you in the queue. If a longer appointment time is required, a member of our team will call you to set up a time where the Medical Provider can dedicate time to address your healthcare concerns.

Based on your current symptoms, medical history and at the discretion of the doctor, a new prescription or prescription refill can be prescribed. Our Healthcare Providers do not prescribe controlled substances, addictive substances or sleeping aids. Please visit your primary care provider or local clinic for assistance.
To get your online doctor’s note, simply book an appointment at a time that is convenient for you and chat with our Healthcare Provider by phone.
Based on your situation and your symptoms, our Healthcare Provider will use their discretion and provide you with a sick note online accordingly.
Yes. The virtual doctor will inform you of the charge at the time of your virtual medical visit.
Yes, our virtual doctors can backdate your sicknote 1-2 days prior to your appointment. A medical note can be issued for a maximum of 3-5 days depending on the circumstances.
A follow up virtual medical visit is required should you wish to extend your medical note.
A doctor's note is not guaranteed. Our Healthcare Provider will examine your current symptoms during the consultation and decide whether a sick note is required.
Yes, Our Medical Providers are trained and highly qualified to provide mental health support. Our Medical Providers can also refer you to local Mental Health Specialists, if needed, for further assessment, treatment, and consultations.
The Virtual Health Clinic is not intended for emergency care. If you are experiencing symptoms of chest pain, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, altered state of consciousness or any injury requiring immediate attention, please call 911 or proceed to the nearest hospital.
