Our healthcare provider will make a second attempt the same day before we close if time permits, or your call will be returned the next day.

    If you experience a delay, please do not worry. Our healthcare provider may be wrapping up with the patient(s) ahead of you. If you experience a longer than usual delay, please email operations@virtualhealthclinic.com we would be happy to provide you with an update on the estimated time of call.

Our patient care team will fax the prescription to your pharmacy as soon as the appointment is completed. Your pharmacy may have received the fax but have yet to take care of it.

Please remember to check your junk, spam, or promotions folder. If you still have not received your requisition, please call 877-251-0077.

You should use Virtual Health Clinic if you require non-urgent care that does not require you to visit a hospital. You can also use our services if you are a busy individual and want to see a Medical Provider on the go – who is looking to avoid the long wait times at the clinic and hospital waiting rooms. If you have chest pain or shortness of breath, please call 911 or visit your nearest hospital immediately.

Yes, all your personal and medical information will only be used by Virtual Health Clinic Medical Providers and administrators. We encrypt all data using bank-level, modern state-of-the-art security to keep your personal information safe and secure.

Yes, virtual care is a new era of healthcare and is encouraged in times of a pandemic to avoid additional exposure to infections. Our licensed Medical Providers use their extensive knowledge, training, and assessment techniques to treat patients online through audio, video, and chat consultations.

The healthcare professional will end the current session and will contact you via the telephone number in your profile and advise how to proceed forward.

The quality of care is the same as an in-person visit. Our virtual doctors can assess, diagnose, and treat many conditions online and provide prescriptions, lab requisitions and results, work/school notes, specialist referrals and more from the comfort of your home.

Once you have completed the online or phone registration, you can select a convenient time to have your appointment with the Medical Provider. We are open 7-days a week from 8am to 9pm Eastern Standard Time.

To cancel your appointment, you must email support@virtualhealthclinic.com with your first name, last name and time of your appointment.

Our Medical Providers will connect with you as close to your appointment time as possible. If you experience a delay with the arrival of your healthcare provider to your appointment, do not worry. The healthcare providers are tending to the patients ahead of you. Please note that some appointments can unexpectedly take longer than others. If you experience a prolonged delay, please email support@virtualhealthclinic.com to find out where you are in the queue.

Yes, you can. Continuity of care is at the heart of our virtual medical clinic. Virtual Health Clinic offers a continuous caring relationship between patient and provider through our Ontario virtual clinic and through our province-wide network of affiliated medical clinics and healthcare providers.

Yes, our Medical Providers can provide online prescriptions and prescription refills from the comfort of your home. After your consultation, if the Healthcare Provider deems it to be safe and medically appropriate, a prescription will be electronically sent to your pharmacy of choice for easy counter pick-up or free delivery right to your door. We do not prescribe controlled substances, addictive substances or sleeping aids.

Yes, Virtual Health Clinic’s Healthcare Providers are highly trained and qualified to provide mental health support. We can also refer you to a local Mental Health Specialist, if needed, for further assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.

Yes, our Medical Providers are happy to provide you with a digital medical note for work or school, if necessary.

Virtual Health Clinic is not intended for emergency care. If you are experiencing symptoms of chest pain, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, altered state of consciousness or any injury requiring immediate attention, please call 9-1-1 or proceed to the nearest hospital.
